As a student, bottle shop assistant and red wine enthusiast I have built a large repertoire of knowledge, specifically about Australian budget red wines. As a current employee of a bottle shop which mostly sells wine to a lower socio demographic, I am asked to express recommendations on a daily routine. With conducting extensive research for my job, I thought that this would be the best to write extensively about for my university unit, writing on the web. Bit of a win-win really. My expertise is in the cheap bottles (let’s be honest, I am a student who only works part time, so I can’t be affording to splash out when it comes to fuzzy brain juice) and have found one of the best ways to grab a customers attention to entice a sale is with a bit of tongue in cheek humour.
The aim of this blog is to showcase different types of “value for money” Australian red wine, in depth reviews while also highlighting facts and information about the history and processes of wine production with a unique and interesting framework of nodes and websites to engage in a similar interested audience. A In-depth but easy to navigate site is to appeal and inform a young and novice consumer base who seek to find out more about the Australian red wine market. Personal reviews from me, a student and red wine enthusiast will give a unique perspective on all things wine.
The blog will be centred around one main blog/website which will house all the information and blog details. Other nodes such as social media (facebook + twitter) will also be used to generate an organic audience with the use of interesting status, hashtags, related imagery and content.
This site is for my writing on the web university assignments. I’m using a wordpress blog as my main node for content to cover all assignment topics but would also love to continue reviewing red wines after I have completed the task.
